Yes! Our seat covers are 100% waterproof, rot-proof and life-proof. Over 100,000 hardworking legends have given our seat covers a thrashing - farmers, contractors, surfers, plumbers, truck drivers, builders, hunters, workers and adventurers.

It’s important to give your seat covers a little TLC to keep them working just as hard as you do.

Follow these steps to clean your seat covers every couple of months:

1. Vacuum covers to remove loose dirt, dust and gravel.
2. Remove the cover from the seat.
3. Hose off any loose dirt with cold running water.
4. Put seat cover in bucket of cold water and leave to soak for several minutes.
5. Use a gentle bristle brush to give seat cover a light scrub.
6. If it is still dirty, leave to soak in a bucket of warm water overnight.
7. Lie flat or hang to dry before putting them back on your vehicle.
8. Your cover may fade slightly after cleaning.

Colour preference very much depends on what it is you are going to be doing with your vehicle. Slate grey is great for hiding dirt, mud and grime. Whereas black is better for hiding oil and grease.

It is also worth noting, that black can heat up slightly in direct sunshine. For this reason we recommend getting grey for quad bike seat covers and tractor seat covers. As these vehicles often are in more exposed to direct sunlight. 

We only work with the highest quality, durable materials to create our robust and rugged car seat covers. Our car seat covers are made from the most heavy-duty canvas material, the strongest nylon thread, and the softest cotton drill.

We chose to manufacture our seat covers from 12oz canvas because it is well renowned for its durability. This heavy-duty fabric is made from a blend of polyester and cotton.

Cotton drill is a high strength mid weight cloth, which is both abrasion and water resistant. It is also coated with UV protection and rot/mildew resistant finish. Cotton Drill is currently is only available for order over the phone or via email.

It kinda depends on what kind of work you do and just how rough you are on your vehicle. We have tested our products and they can withstand some pretty hard wear and tear for around 6 years.

Whilst the Rugged Valley Seat covers have a 2 year guarantee, some of our customers have seen them last for 8+ years!

We proudly stand by our no-nonsense 2-year guarantee — because gear should do what it’s built to do. If your seat covers show general wear and tear within that time, we’ll either repair them or replace them. Simple as that.

If the product you’ve purchased isn’t what you were expecting, is the wrong fit / colour / design or you have changed your mind, you may return it within 30 days in original condition and packaging and exchange it for another product, store credit, or a refund back to your original payment method.
